Britney Spears's "Oops! ... I Did It Again" turns 21



On March 27, 2000, the pop princess Britney Spears released as the first single from her second album the great theme of Oops! ... I Did It Again, the song talks about seeing love referring to Titanic (1997), according to its producers the Swedes Max Martin and Rami who composed this song.


Spears shot the video clip for Oops! ... I Did It Again on March 17 and 18, 2000 in Universal City , under the direction of Nigel Dick , with whom she previously worked on her first three clips: ... Baby One More Time , Sometimes and (You Drive Me) Crazy . She created the concept of the video herself, regarding what she specified: She wanted to be on Mars , dance on Mars and wear a red suit. During the filming of a scene, a camera fell from above and hit her on the head, causing her to bleed. Although her mother, Lynne, suggested she might have suffered a concussion, the singer rested for four hours and continued with the recordings, after four stitches were made.


The video begins with scenes of a NASA team searching for life on Mars, then Britney Spears, dressed in a tight red leatherette suit, descends from the heights on a platform as the planet's empress, in front of one of the astronauts . The singer performs a constant choreography with a team of Martian dancers during the course of this. In parallel, scenes of Britney Spears dressed in white are interposed, performing another choreography lying on a round white platform.
